The JDK source code is packaged in a src.jar, and should be in the JDK/Home folder. However, some JDK versions in Mac OSX didn’t include the source code or Javadoc.

JDK 6 (1.6) is preinstalled in both OS X 10.5 and 10.6. I actually didn't realize this, but it requires 64-bit hardware. Until Mac OS X 10.7 (currently unreleased), the Java updates were maintained in-house by Apple. In 10.7, Java will no longer be maintained by Apple.

Go https://developer.apple.com/downloads/index.action , sign in with your Apple ID.

Download the “Java for OS X 2013-0* Developer Package“, it contains JDK runtime, source code and Javadoc, install the downloaded *.dmg Best security software for mac os x mojave compatibility. and follow the wizard guide to finish the installation.

2. Find JDK Source Code

After the installation, the JDK source code should be found in following location :
